While we prefer Citicoline to Alpha GPC, 300 mg of Alpha GPC is a more than good-enough dosage.


Have you ever heard of L-Carnitine? If you are a gym-goer, chances are, you did, because this is a popular far burner. Besides, it promotes energy production, which may have positive benefits on our cognition.


L-Tyrosine is a nootropic compound that seems most effective for stressful situations. If you supplement it before a stressful activity, studies show that it can enhance your memory and learning.


Uridine is an under-researched, yet a very interesting nootropic compound. Studies show that it can enhance our learning by accelerating synaptic formation.

It seems the most effective at the range of 500 – 1000 mg.

TAURINE – 200 mg

Taurine is an amino acid that is often found in energy drinks. It may provide benefits for overall health and increase blood flow. Consequently, you might feel more alert after supplementing it.

We don’t wholly understand why Neurohacker Collective decided to add this compound to their nootropic stack.

L-THEANINE – 200 mg

L-Theanine is one of our favorite nootropics. This amino acid can reduce anxiety, improve our focus, and make us more alert. Also, it can minimize the adverse side effects of drinking coffee.


Rhodiola Rosea is a popular adaptogenic herb known to be an effective anxiolytic. By decreasing our stress levels, it can make use more alert, especially in stressful situations.

We would like to see a slightly higher dosage of Rhodiola Rosea in this supplement.


Theobromine is a central nervous system stimulant, similar to caffeine. Sadly, it is less potent. Anyhow, supplementing it can enhance your alertness, and improve your mood. Side effects are less frequent compared to drinking coffee.


Mucuna Pruriens is a nootropic that contains 50% of L-Dopa, a popular adaptogen. L-Dopa contains neuroprotective properties, it regulates growth hormone, and it also supports our mood. Supplementing it can make our brains healthier. 


Celastrus paniculatus is an under-researched nootropic that has been traditionally used in Ayurveda. Based on the anecdotes, it provides anti-oxidant effects. 

We would like to see more studies to confirm the efficacy and safety of this nootropic compound.

HUPERZINE A – 50 mcg

Huperzine A is a nootropic that is extracted from the plant Huperzia Serrata. This compound is known to prevent the breakdown of acetylcholine, our learning neurotransmitter. 

Long-term use of Huperzine A is not recommended, and it is important to cycle it. Therefore, be careful with it!


50 mg of Ginkgo Biloba should not provide any significant benefits. This popular nootropic is otherwise great for anti-oxidant effects and a popular memory booster, but you need a higher dosage to get the effects.


Coleus Forskohlii is somewhat useless in this formulation. It can help people with asthma, and apparently, it can increase testosterone levels, but is it a real nootropic?

We lack studies to confirm that. Also, it seems effective at a dosage of 250-500 mg, not 20 mg.


Artichoke extract has probably been added to this formula because of its anti-oxidant benefits and overall health support. We didn’t see any other benefits from this compound.


Phenylalanine is an amino acid that can increase the sense of well-being and positive feelings. It is an essential amino acid that seems most potent at 500 – 1500 mg/day. 


Last but not least, caffeine. Caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant that enhances our focus, alertness, energy, and improves our overall well-being.

If you combine it with L-theanine, you get an excellent nootropic combo!

Our Opinion About The Formula

Our Experience

Our experience with Qualia Focus has been quite fun, but not the most pleasant one. Here is why.

Neurohacker recommends taking 5 capsules of Qualia Focus in the morning – and that’s precisely what we did.

No matter how much you “like” taking capsules and pills, 5 capsules are quite a hassle, especially if you take any additional vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other supplements.

Anyhow, after we took the capsules, we waited for about 30 minutes for the first effects. All of a sudden, we felt a mild energy rush that was accompanied by a positive mood, feeling of alertness, and overall well-being.

The effects stayed with us for a couple of hours, which was enough to take care of the most advanced tasks of the day.

We believe, even though it is a subjective feeling, that Qualia Focus helped us get into the power flow, which we definitely liked.

Besides the 5 capsules that you need to take, there isn’t much to complain about.

Qualia Mind Dosage

As we mentioned before, the recommended daily dosage is 5 capsules, which we recommend taking in the morning with food.

Do not take the capsules in the afternoon since the formula contains 2 stimulants, caffeine and theobromine.

Also, you need to consider cycling this nootropic supplement due to Huperzine A. The optimal cycling period has not been established yet, but we like to take nootropics during the week and stay off during the weekend.

Qualia Mind Side Effects

Based on our experience, Qualia Mind is side effects free despite so many nootropics combined in one supplement.

However, this doesn’t mean it is 100% safe for everyone. We do recommend consulting your doctor before you start supplementing it.

If you take the capsules too late in the afternoon, you could expect issues such as insomnia.

If you take too many capsules at the same time, the following side effects are possible:

  • Nervousness
  • Headache
  • Increased heart rate
  • Dizziness
  • Brain fog

Therefore, it is recommended to follow the brand recommendations.

Where To Buy Qualia Focus?

There are many reasons why Qualia Focus is a great nootropic supplement. We are sure it will convince many people and get many daily users.
